For the second installment of "Be The ****," the hugely popular cosplayer, Sei, makes an appearance! With over 64,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter) and active as an official cosplayer, she transformed into a calico cat with body paint for this project.

When we discussed the colors of the paint to be used before the shoot, it was actually Sei-san herself who suggested the idea of using the colors of a calico cat. This time, we were able to bring that wonderful idea to life. As mentioned in the work, this was her first time doing body painting. She approached this shoot with a different feel from her usual cosplay.

Before painting, Sei appears wearing white cat ears, tail, and collar. She exudes an adorable and captivating presence, as if she were a personified white cat. Combined with her excellent proportions, the high level of perfection is truly befitting of a popular cosplayer. However, this cute appearance is short-lived. First, her body, face, and even her hair are painted with white paint. As her entire body is enveloped in pure white, her human-like features gradually fade, and she transforms into a white cat with a mysterious charm. In the work, she herself comments, "It's interesting. I look like a moving plaster statue," and the transformation is a must-see.
Next, black and brown paints are used to draw patterns on the body, completing the design into a full-fledged calico cat. The contrast of white, black, and brown creates a look that is unmistakably that of a calico cat. The result is an impressive visual that combines cuteness with a somewhat alluring atmosphere.
Of course, this is not the end. Towards the end, the paint used on Sei, who had transformed into a calico cat, is layered on top of each other and spread mercilessly. Furthermore, paint is poured over her head, and the colors gradually change into a marbled pattern. She transforms into a visual with a unique charm, different from her original neat calico cat form.
From the adorable appearance of a cat to an artistic figure enveloped in vibrant colors, please enjoy the various expressions and transformations that Sei displays until the very end.
