Whenever Eriko is asked about her plans for a day off, she always answers without hesitation: "Searching for Tokugawa Ieyasu’s hidden treasure."

One weekday afternoon, on her way home from a business visit in the mountains, Eriko spots an old, moss-covered stone monument by the roadside. She drives past it, but something about it bothers her. "Could this be it?"

She makes a U-turn and examines the inscription. To her surprise, it appears to be a clue to the hidden treasure she has long been searching for. Unable to resist, Eriko pretends to be sick and takes the afternoon off. Still wearing her dark navy business suit, she heads into the mountains.

Beyond the trail, she finds a muddy wasteland filled with puddles. With no change of clothes or proper equipment, she begins searching for clues. At first, she carefully avoids the mud to keep her suit clean. But then she steps into a deep patch, loses her balance, and falls into the muddy water.

For a moment, she freezes. Then she looks at her ruined suit and sighs. "Whatever!" She starts crawling through the mud, searching every inch of the ground. Her navy jacket, skirt, and white blouse soon become completely covered in mud. But Eriko doesn't care anymore. Determined to find the hidden treasure, she continues her muddy search.
