Face Painting Vol.53 ~Explosion Comedy Edition~

GUMI, who appeared in Face Painting Vol. 49, tried her hand at a comedy-like piece this time.

It is divided into three parts: the first part is the "comedy part," the second part is the "dark night part," and the third part is the "whitening part." Video 2 is the making of (blacked out).

Video 1
"Comedy Edition"
As they are having a casual conversation, they hear a loud noise and an explosion. In this short comedy, GUMI is completely covered in charred makeup.
This is a parody of a segment from a comedy show that aired on NHK a few years ago. The making of the process of turning completely black is recorded in video 2.

"Dark Night Edition"
During the last shoot, he said he wanted to paint himself black and blend into the darkness, so I tried that out. With the black paint still on, I put on a full-body tights suit and darkened the room, and he blended in completely with the darkness and turned into the culprit of Conan O'Brien.

"Whitening Edition"
There was still a lot of flour left over from the smoke that spewed from his mouth in the comedy skit, so we had him stick it in face-first. It turned completely white, but gradually the area around his mouth started to peel off, giving him a burglar's beard. It started to crack all over, giving him a horror-like look. Finally, we filmed him removing his makeup, and it seems the oil from the black grease was absorbed by the flour, leaving him with a matte texture like an exterior wall, which doesn't come off with tissue and creates a unique texture.

Video 2
After drawing a graffiti-style drawing with grease paint, the face, ears, and neck are painted jet black by the customer. The video also includes the process of styling the hair in an explosive style using wax.
