The incubus, a sleep demon that lives in nightmares and has passed from person to person for thousands of years, has undergone repeated mutations until it finally takes on a physical form.
Incubus attacks superhumans in search of special energy to maintain their physical form.
Rose Pearl was the first to be attacked.
Rose Pearl is cornered by a nightmare in the city and futilely resists.
A few months later, the incubus breaks into Star Venus' bedroom and looks down on her as she writhes in agony from a nightmare.
