朝倉雅紀が沙緒里と出会ったのは、大学三年生に進級したてのころだった。雅紀と沙緒里はお互いが輝いて見えた。母の絵美子は『朝倉プロダクション』を事故死した夫から引継ぎ、歌手志望の沙緒里の夢を叶えようとする。丁度、人気番組で三人組の女の子のレギュラーを決めようとしていた。絵美子は、自分の会社で伸び悩んでいる二人を沙緒里と組ませて『TWINKLE』というユニット名で売り出そうとする。
